Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift.
- Directly supervises and communicates with all staff along with the Director of Nursing.
- Assists the Director of Nursing in the daily operation of the unit, directing, supervising, and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment, and staff.
- Ensures the efficient functions of the department.
- Performs direct patient care, as needed, within the scope of practice.
- Continually assesses care and directs staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.
Requirements
- Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (AHA or ARC) upon hire and maintain current; ACLS (AHA or ARC) preferred.
- At least one year of experience preferred; supervisory experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
- At least two years of RN Charge Nurse experience preferred.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $46.71 to $62.87 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
