Clinical Supervisor - RN

About the role

The Clinical Supervisor role combines administrative and field-based responsibilities. Administratively, you will handle internal case management, patient intake and discharge, start-of-care processes, and nurse competency validation. In the field, you will mentor and guide staff in patient homes, providing professional development and support.

Work Location: Exton, PA branch office, in-home visits, and potential hybrid schedule (varies based on branch need).

Responsibilities

• Internal case management, evaluation, education, and development of nursing talent
• Participate in transitioning patients from facilities to their homes through "Start of Care Assessments" and "Re-evaluations"
• Review physicians’ orders and update plans of care and documentation as necessary
• Assist with selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff
• Promote and enhance the clinical expertise of staff to ensure safe and quality nursing care
• Collaborate with operations and business development teams
• Ensure adherence to state, federal, local regulations, and Aveanna policies and procedures

Requirements

• Active and good standing RN license in the state of practice
• At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience
• Ability to travel to patients’ homes within a designated territory
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and pass MVR check
• Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC
• Willingness to supervise caregivers providing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults
