Clinical Supervisor - Massage Therapy Program

About the role

Clinical Lab Supervisors proctor in the new Massage Therapy Skills Lab for students to practice massage techniques, palpation skills, draping, and additional skills learned in massage therapy lab courses. Skills to be supervised should not exceed those taught in foundational classes. Skills Lab sessions are held during the day, evening, and Saturday sessions on the Palatine Campus.

Responsibilities

• Proctor students in the Massage Therapy Skills Lab
• Ensure that all students follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Provide feedback and guidance to students on their technique and progress
• Assist with administrative tasks related to the Skills Lab

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Massage Therapy or a related field
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Experience working with students in a clinical setting
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of massage therapy techniques and anatomy
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Hours may vary by semester according to student schedules, but typically fall during the day, evening, and Saturday sessions on the Palatine Campus.
