Key Responsibilities
- Providing clinical supervision to assigned staff and interns in alignment with licensing board requirements and agency policies.
- Reviewing and approving documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries for accuracy, timeliness, and clinical appropriateness.
- Offering consultation on complex clinical cases, including crisis intervention and mandated reporting.
- Assisting in recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.
- Monitoring clinician caseloads and ensuring that staff meet productivity expectations.
- Supporting the Senior Director in developing and implementing policies and procedures to meet agency and regulatory standards.
- Contributing to Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives, including chart reviews, incident response reviews, and identification of staff training needs and workflow updates.
- Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintaining a reduced caseload, providing individual, family, and group therapy.
- Delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based treatment services.
- Covering the agency’s after-hours crisis line, as needed.
- Attending and participating in departmental and agency meetings, including team meetings, supervisors’ meetings, and case conferences.
- Leading workshops in the community on topics related to mental health.
- Serving on Family Centers’ Trauma Response Team and support the community following a crisis.
- Representing Family Centers at community-based meetings and committees.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LPC or LMFT in Connecticut, or the ability to obtain CT licensure.
- Experience working with a wide range of populations; grief counseling experience is helpful.
- Knowledge and experience with electronic health records.
- Ability to work two evenings per week.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
