Clinical Supervisor, IOP

Essential Responsibilities And Metrics

• Supervise and evaluate the performance of clinical staff, assuring and auditing staff compliance with productivity requirements, assessments, and notes
• Supervise IOP interns as needed and helping train and onboard staff to policies and procedures
• Help develop and expand group therapy curriculum, family therapy and expressive therapies for IOP
• Maintain 25% direct productivity and caseload of 4-7 therapy cases
• Monitor and approve clinical staff work and vacation schedules to ensure that the needs of the program are covered
• Work closely with IOP Director to enhance overall IOP programming, including developing guidelines/policies for transportation
• Be available to handle crisis requests for IOP staff
• Work effectively with other program supervisors
• Foster relationships with community resources and participate in community related activities

Qualifications

• Licensed for independent clinical practice in the State of Illinois in mental health or related field
• Demonstrate competence in interdisciplinary and inter-agency collaboration
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience working within higher levels of care (IOP, PHP, Inpatient, Residential)
• Demonstrated administrative, supervisory, and organizational skills
• Advanced oral and written skills
• Ability to think critically and analytically and to problem solve
• Working knowledge of evidenced based skills and best practices in the field of mental health
