Essential Responsibilities And Metrics
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of clinical staff, assuring and auditing staff compliance with productivity requirements, assessments, and notes
- Supervise IOP interns as needed and helping train and onboard staff to policies and procedures
- Help develop and expand group therapy curriculum, family therapy and expressive therapies for IOP
- Maintain 25% direct productivity and caseload of 4-7 therapy cases
- Monitor and approve clinical staff work and vacation schedules to ensure that the needs of the program are covered
- Work closely with IOP Director to enhance overall IOP programming, including developing guidelines/policies for transportation
- Be available to handle crisis requests for IOP staff
- Work effectively with other program supervisors
- Foster relationships with community resources and participate in community related activities
Qualifications
- Licensed for independent clinical practice in the State of Illinois in mental health or related field
- Demonstrate competence in interdisciplinary and inter-agency collaboration
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience working within higher levels of care (IOP, PHP, Inpatient, Residential)
- Demonstrated administrative, supervisory, and organizational skills
- Advanced oral and written skills
- Ability to think critically and analytically and to problem solve
- Working knowledge of evidenced based skills and best practices in the field of mental health
