Clinical Supervisor (Crisis Stabilization Unit)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation and screening on an emergency basis for clients in need of crisis stabilization services.
  • Partners with emergency services and criminal justice community to ensure appropriate level of care.
  • Accurate data collection of program goals.
  • Assists in crisis resolution.
  • Creates, implements and monitors a comprehensive stabilization plan.
  • Provides supervision and training of staff within her/his program(s).
  • Schedules shift and coverage pattern for service, including regular and on-call relief.
  • Works in conjunction with the director and treatment staff in matters of supervision, evaluating, training, and recommendation of hiring or termination.
  • Participates in staff meetings, community meetings, and other staff and program group activities that support the operation of a treatment program.
  • Promotes good family and community relations and appropriately assesses services for appropriate wrap around services to support quality of life for persons served.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Three or more years experience with relevant population (including one or more years in a supervisory capacity)
  • Crisis Intervention and/or Stabilization experience preferred
  • Proficient with Windows, Outlook, Internet research and Microsoft Office
  • Valid Virginia driver's license with excellent driving record
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
