Responsibilities
- Evaluation and screening on an emergency basis for clients in need of crisis stabilization services.
- Partners with emergency services and criminal justice community to ensure appropriate level of care.
- Accurate data collection of program goals.
- Assists in crisis resolution.
- Creates, implements and monitors a comprehensive stabilization plan.
- Provides supervision and training of staff within her/his program(s).
- Schedules shift and coverage pattern for service, including regular and on-call relief.
- Works in conjunction with the director and treatment staff in matters of supervision, evaluating, training, and recommendation of hiring or termination.
- Participates in staff meetings, community meetings, and other staff and program group activities that support the operation of a treatment program.
- Promotes good family and community relations and appropriately assesses services for appropriate wrap around services to support quality of life for persons served.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Three or more years experience with relevant population (including one or more years in a supervisory capacity)
- Crisis Intervention and/or Stabilization experience preferred
- Proficient with Windows, Outlook, Internet research and Microsoft Office
- Valid Virginia driver's license with excellent driving record
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
