Responsibilities
- Trains, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines assigned staff.
- Provides ongoing in-service training and continuing education on a regular basis for recovery counselors and for other clinical staff, as needed.
- Establishes and maintains an on-going relationship with county agencies, health care facilities, placement centers and other resources necessary to affect the continuum of care for clients returning to the community.
- Prepares, maintains, reviews, and assists in revisions, at least annually, the policy and procedures of the program department.
- Ensures orientation, annual education, in-service training, and continuing education for clinical staff members will meet regulatory compliance as well as lead to program and staff growth.
- Directs, coordinates, and maximizes the integration and cooperation of programs with other services and local community resources by facilitating collaborations and partnerships between representatives of the County, contract providers, and non-profit agencies.
Requirements
- Licensure & Education: Must be registered in California with the BBS (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) or the Board of Psychology (Psy.D / Ph.D).
- A master’s degree or PhD in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
- Two (2) years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
- Experience: Four (4) years of direct service experience working with individuals with mental illness (experience with adult populations preferred).
- Two (2) years of experience supervising direct care staff (experience in a healthcare setting preferred).
Qualifications
- A valid California Driver’s License and eligibility to meet agency driving criteria is preferred.

Pay
$37.26 USD Per Hour
Schedule
8 hours per week (weekdays), with a hybrid arrangement of 4 hours on-site and 4 hours remote. Flexible days and hours available.
