Clinical Supervisor

Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision to clinical staff and participates in administrative activities to support the program and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing standards and procedures for service delivery.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned clinical staff.
• Oversee credentialing and license status of assigned staff.
• Assist with case record reviews for quality and appropriateness of service delivery.
• Attend community meetings related to service delivery as needed.
• Work with the Clinical Utilization Manager to ensure quality clinical services and that clinical documentation meets agency and funder requirements.
• Attend staff, clinical team, Management Team, and Quality Improvement meetings.
• Maintain a small caseload and productivity of 30% reportable/billable services.
• Assign, supervise, and monitor clinical activities of supervisees through individual and group supervision, review of clinical records, and monthly productivity reports.
• Help with recruitment and selection of clinical staff.
• Orient and train new employees; provide on‑the‑job training and facilitate staff development opportunities.
• Evaluate staff performance annually and develop corrective action plans as needed.
• Embrace and supervise the utilization of Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) in accordance with fidelity requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or a related field leading to eligibility for clinical licensure.
• Two years of post‑master’s experience working with children, families, and adults in a professional outpatient setting.
• 1–2 years of experience providing clinical supervision or related on‑the‑job education.
• Additional certifications with special populations (children, older adults, etc.) preferred.
• Training and certification in multiple EBPs desired.
• Bilingual & biliterate in English & Spanish preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated; able to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to represent the agency professionally within the community.
• Good understanding of Catholic Charities guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Licensure: LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT in Washington State; eligibility for or current credential as Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).
• Valid Washington driver’s license and minimum required liability insurance for WA State; must be deemed insurable by Catholic Charities’ liability insurance provider.

Requirements

Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and other low‑exertion work, as well as regular talking and hearing, required up to 80% of the time. The position also requires the ability to drive with adequate vision and skill.

Pay

Wage Range: $97,520 – $108,120 per year

Relocation Assistance: up to $5,000 for relocations over 50 miles

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
