Clinical Statistical Programmer - II (Associate)

6-month contract role located in Florham Park, NJ with potential for extensions. W2 contract; no PTO or benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

About the role

This position focuses across Women's Health, Established Brands, Biosimilars, and in-licensing opportunities. You will be responsible for internal analysis for all internal projects and research programs, including design and delivery of internal research projects and insights. The role involves delivering internal data analysis of studies for developmental products and commercialized projects across the portfolio, communicating data to internal stakeholders, and supporting research projects for congress presentations and manuscript submissions.

Responsibilities

• Develop protocols and Statistical Analysis Plans (SAP) based on study concepts, ensuring appropriateness of study design, sample size, and statistical methodologies.
• Develop and implement rigorous QC processes and programming templates to ensure data and analysis quality.
• Conduct statistical analyses to generate tables, listings, and figures for publications, presentations, and internal use.
• Work with large US insurance claims databases, electronic medical records, and registry databases for health outcomes research (e.g., Premier, IBM-Marketscan, THIN European database, Humedica, IMSPharmetrics+, GEhealth, Flatiron, OMNY).
• Utilize medical and billing coding systems such as ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC, NDC, HCPCS, and CPT.
• Familiarity with cloud and high-performance computing environments (Azure, AWS).
• Meet timelines with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to translate statistical information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or post-graduate degree (e.g., PhD, DrPH, PharmD) in Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy Administration, or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in SAS programming.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on work experience with real-world studies using large claims/EMR databases in HEOR.
• Experience with OMNY database and Dermatology is a plus.
• Experience in R/Rshiny programming is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in SAS and data analysis.

Pay

$76.00 - $86.00/hr
