Clinical Staffing Clerk Float
About the role
Coordinates daily staffing operations for Float Pool associates in support of Ascension’s Float Pool Program to ensure efficient and effective coverage.
Responsibilities
- Manages schedule reviews and updates, oversees absences, and fulfills staffing requests to maintain optimal unit coverage.
- Facilitates communication between associates and unit managers to align staffing with skills, availability, and facility needs.
- Maintains accurate scheduling data within staffing systems while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and staffing guidelines.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with medical terminology is preferred.
