How you’ll make an impact in this role

Lead specialized pharmacy care by assuring appropriate selection, dosing, and dispensing of medication orders in complex areas such as oncology and nuclear medicine.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing system-wide guidance to clinical leadership and cross-functional teams to improve medication safety and therapeutic protocols.
Proactively review and assess medication orders, recommending evidence-based formulary alternatives to prevent and resolve potential drug-related problems, ensuring optimal patient safety.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff, providing expert drug information and patient education to facilitate integrated care and enhance treatment effectiveness.
Oversee technical personnel and assist with academic functions, such as serving as a preceptor for pharmacy students, to maintain workflow efficiency and mentor the next generation of professionals.

Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
  • Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Additional Preferences We're Seeking

  • 3 Years Recent Inpatient/Hospital Experience
  • IV/Sterile Compounding Certification
