Job Duties
- Performs patient assessment and care.
- Performs prior authorization and insurance resolution services.
- Oversees the Patient Advocate team.
- Communicates with patients, providers, and caregivers.
- Assumes responsibility for professional development and continued education.
- Participates in special projects/committees as needed.
- Maintains documentation relative to job.
- Maintains and fosters an environment of teamwork and engagement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy preferred, Doctor Of Pharmacy (PharmD) completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 Pharmacy Practice Residency.
- Experience: None required, 2 years experience as Pharmacist preferred.
- Certification: License to practice Pharmacy by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy, multi-state licensure preferred.
