About the role

BIOTRONIK Neuro is seeking a Clinical Specialist to join their Neuromodulation Segment in Maryland. This role involves providing technical clinical expertise and support to sales efforts, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and conducting educational services.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical, clinical, and programming assistance to Territory Managers.
  • Affords support during after-hours call activities.
  • Builds trust and rapport with customers, fostering strong relationships.
  • Works seamlessly with Territory Managers to maximize their selling time.
  • Conducts evaluations and develops sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities.
  • Collects and analyzes information about new and existing products, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Engages in customer training and in-service sessions.
  • Communicates with medical professionals on the directions for use of implantable devices.
  • Attends trade shows and conferences to stay updated on new product developments.
  • Shares clinical expertise to enhance customer understanding and comfort with Biotronik NRO product line.
  • Complies with FDA regulations and other relevant guidelines.
  • Supports sales efforts and provides clinical insights to customers.
  • Maintains open communication and collaborates with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or technical certification; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of work experience, with a strong preference for experience in a clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate and educate clinical data in the Chronic Pain Therapies space.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly, and present information to various audiences.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • The capacity to work flexible schedules, including shifts that may change unexpectedly due to operating room schedules.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong sense of urgency and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Biotronik NRO or similar implantable medical device companies, or in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
  • Ability to travel 25% within the assigned region and/or outside it.

Skills

  • Technical proficiency in complex programming and case support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements.
