Clinical Specialist II, Cardiac Rhythm Management - Long Island, NY

About the role

This is a field-based position in Long Island, NY within the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that improve how doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats.

Responsibilities

• Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise.
• Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support in response to field inquiries regarding CRM products. Demonstrate thorough command of all CRM products, related technical knowledge, trends, and industry players.
• Develop, lead, and facilitate training sessions and programs on CRM products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide back-up support to CRM Sales Representatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent healthcare experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of related experience or certification from an accredited cardiac training program.
• Capability to obtain certification in CRM products.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cardiology, electro-physiology, or cardiac electro-physiology procedures.
• Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocols.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems and the ability to apply engineering skills to interpret and solve complex clinical problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
• Collaborative skills to work effectively with engineers, technical specialists, vendors, and customers.
• Extensive personal computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office or equivalent software for graphics, word processing, databases, and authoring programs.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $68,000.00 – $136,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
