This is a per diem, temporary position working in an inpatient Adolescent Unit in Middleborough. The need is Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from September through November.
About the Role
This position collaborates with other professionals to evaluate patients' medical or physical condition and to assess client needs as part of the interdisciplinary team. They work collaboratively with all healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans that support patient-centered plans of care for both individual patients and the medical community. Experience working with children/adolescents is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provides psychosocial assessments of patients and families with social, emotional, interpersonal, and/or environmental issues.
- Formulates biopsychosocial assessment, disposition, and treatment plans.
- Collaborates with other professionals to evaluate patients' medical or physical condition and to assess client needs as part of the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitors, evaluates, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in the treatment and care plan.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work required.
- 0-1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting required.
- Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License preferred.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) preferred.
