Clinical Service Nurse - EP Lab

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care by assessing patients, developing care plans, and executing treatments in line with physician orders and policies.
• Support patient education, facilitate care coordination, perform post-procedure teaching, and manage discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate patient records, develop educational materials, and participate in team conferences.
• Conduct follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and collaborate with outpatient teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with recovery and discharge of post-Atrial Fibrillation patients.
• Support hospital-wide efforts as needed.
• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, support the atrial fibrillation team, facilitate patient recovery and discharge, and promote safety and quality standards across the healthcare system.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Minimum 12 months of clinical experience; cardiovascular or EP Lab experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing processes, infection control, and regulatory standards.
• Strong communication, teaching, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in documentation, computer skills, and use of medical equipment.
• Ability to assess patient needs, prioritize care, and work independently.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
