About the role
The Clinical Sales Specialist (CSS) is responsible for augmenting the sales process by collaborating with sales representatives and customers to drive clinical evaluations, implementations, and post-implementation training needs. The CSS works closely with healthcare providers and their teams to establish goals, provide superior training, and ensure the safe and effective use of the Teleflex Vascular product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Present and deliver comprehensive training plans to healthcare providers.
- Develop and execute live case coverage to support the clinical aspects of product evaluations.
- Handle objections and position solutions to promote the safe and effective use of Teleflex Vascular products.
- Train internal and external customers on proper use of all Vascular products according to IFUs, policies, procedures, evidence-based practice guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Clinical & Medical Affairs on key projects and initiatives.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to collect data, analyze, and problem-solve, considering various factors and exercising good judgment within Teleflex policies and practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ patient care experience in critical care area and/or vascular access specialty (e.g., Vascular Access Team, Critical Care, ED, Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license, own and operate a motor vehicle with satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to carry a detail bag weighing up to 20 lbs. and lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Standing or walking for 8-12 hours per day, up to five days per week.
Specialized Skills
- 2+ years of Medical Device Industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a business environment.
- Professional Development background including curriculum creation.
- Advanced Certification in Vascular Access and/or Critical Care (e.g., CRNI, VA-BC, CCRN, CEN, etc.).
- Professional Affiliations and Associations such as APIC, INS, AVA, ENA, AACN.

Pay
$125,000.00 (inclusive of commissions) at commencement of employment, with the possibility of variation based on individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Schedule
Varies based on travel requirements.
