Clinical Sales Specialist, Electrophysiology LAAO - South Florida

About the role

The Clinical Specialist provides clinical and sales support through education of current and potential customers, and procedure coverage with a defined region. In this role, the Clinical Specialist trains interventional cardiologists, catheter lab staff, and ancillary personnel on the use of Structural Heart products and provides technical support to physicians during procedures. The role communicates product, clinical, and market data to appropriate personnel and supports the company's efforts to develop and implement product marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for clinical support in areas such as surgical coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products.
• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products, and inform them of the latest product, therapy, and technology developments in the industry.
• Engage in clinical, procedural, and technical discussions and link data outcomes to key messaging.
• Meet with existing and potential clients (healthcare providers) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and provide creative and feasible solutions.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of related work experience.
• Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• Preferred qualifications include a degree in life sciences or medical training, strong clinical orientation, experience with products for use in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery, familiarity with echo cardiology and other indirect imaging, and strong consideration for candidates with EP (Electrophysiology) and SH (Structural Heart) sales experience.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
