About the Role
To assist with coordinating the clinical education programs provided by The Kingston Hospital. Responsibilities include providing general nursing orientation, assisting clinical departments in meeting their staff development needs from needs assessment and planning through provision and evaluation of programs, and functioning as an internal consultant and facilitator regarding clinical education.
Requirements
- BSN required; MS preferred
- Acute care Med-Surg experience (3-5 years)
- 1 year as educator or other related experience
- BLS instructor certification
- ACLS instructor certification
- PALS instructor certification
- Computer skills required
- Current NYS Licensed Registered Nurse
Qualifications
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Clinical area certification (e.g., Med-Surg, CCRN) preferred
