Provides direct and indirect patient care in various healthcare settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed and perform treatments using nursing knowledge.
• Provide age-appropriate care and support patient self-care activities.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.
• Assist physicians with procedures and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.
• Practice cost-effective resource management and prioritize patient safety.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Computer literacy required; additional certifications like ACLS/PALS preferred.
