Clinical Resident Nurse - Med/Surg

Role Overview: Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to preserve patient dignity and promote health. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization. Key Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on medical condition.Administer prescribed medications and provide condition-appropriate care.Develop and evaluate patient and family teaching plans.Assist physicians with procedures and perform technical services.Address psychosocial needs, communicating with social services for discharge planning.Practice cost-effective resource usage and prioritize patient safety.Engage in lifelong learning to maintain nursing competencies. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Computer literacy.RN licensure and BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
