Clinical Resident Nurse - Med/Surg

Role Overview Provides direct and indirect patient care in various care settings, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to deliver high-quality services while respecting patient autonomy, dignity, and rights. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, with additional duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.Administer medications as prescribed and perform treatments using technical skills.Provide age-appropriate care and support basic self-care activities.Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.Communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for post-discharge care.Practice cost-effective resource usage and promote patient safety by minimizing risks.Assist physicians with procedures and perform manual tasks as needed.Commit to lifelong learning to stay current in nursing practices. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Skills & Certifications Computer literacy.Preferred: ACLS/PALS Specialty Certification.
