About the role

This position supports the Cardiovascular Clinical Research Unit (CCRU) and manages complex projects with both internal and external collaborators.

Responsibilities

  • Manage mostly complex, multi-site clinical research projects (including study start up, daily operations, external site communications, recruitment and enrollment, and troubleshooting; QA& QC; study close out activities).
  • Develop, create and review regulatory submission and study documents/tools, including protocols, consents, annual reports, source docs, training slides, MOPs, DSMB charter, CRFs, SOPs.
  • Provide assistance with IND/IDE/CTA exemption determinations.
  • Aid in pre-award finance activities (MRA/MCA development, CTMS registration, RBN, driving contract timelines, budgeting input or development, grant writing assistance); and/or post award finance activities (invoicing, billing review).
  • Staff supervision: Assist and train direct and/or indirect research staff in the Cardiovascular Division and within the CCRU, on procedures as required per protocol(s). Includes onboarding and training, data and lab management, protocol compliance and QC/QA, human subjects protection and GCP, and project assignments/staff mentoring/biannual performance appraisal completion.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 7-10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Master's degree and 5-7 years of experience preferred.

Pay Range

$91,066.00 - $115,000.00 Annual Rate
