Clinical Research Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Research Project Manager to help lead and coordinate industry-sponsored clinical research initiatives from startup through execution.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute clinical research projects and initiatives that support industry-sponsored research, investigator engagement, and research growth.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Bring together cross-functional teams, including investigators, research operations, data and analytics teams, sponsors, and institutional stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress against goals, proactively identify barriers, escalate risks, and help implement solutions.
• Serve as the central point of coordination for assigned projects, helping stakeholders stay aligned and accountable for deliverables.
• Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and governance discussions; document decisions, track action items, and ensure timely follow-through.
• Create and maintain project documentation, status reports, dashboards, and leadership communications that support transparency and informed decision-making.
• Collect, review, and support completion of regulatory and operational documentation required for study startup and implementation.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Experience: 3–5 years of research-related experience required.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organizational and communication skills; demonstrated analytical skills; effective problem-solving skills; strong computer skills.
