Clinical Research Project Manager A/B
About the Role
The Neuromuscular Clinical Research Division has a diverse clinical research portfolio of clinical trials/studies across single-center and multi-center settings. The Clinical Research Project Manager A/B helps provide oversight of study operations. This includes project management for assigned studies as well as project planning, team management, regulatory activities, and study execution. This role ensures studies are conducted according to protocol, regulatory requirements, and timelines, while supporting investigators and coordinating across internal and external collaborators.
Responsibilities
- With mentoring from the Principal Investigator and Associate Director, take a leadership role in developing study protocols, managing the detailed operations of projects, and coordinating activities in single center and/or multi-center studies
- Assist with quality control and grant applications when applicable
- Help develop the team's research strategy and may have opportunities to co-author papers
- Train and supervise relevant members of the study team
- Ensure protocol compliance in accordance with established timelines, institutional policies, federal regulations and good clinical practices
- For Project Manager B level only: serve as a study coordinator on trials, when applicable
Qualifications
- A level: Bachelor's Degree with 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- B level: Bachelor's Degree with 5–7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Master's degree and 3–5 years of experience preferred
Pay
$63,085.00 – $89,789.00 annual rate. Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, and in alignment with salary ranges based on external market data for the job's level. Internal organization and peer data at Penn are also considered.
