This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerville, NJ.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active New Jersey RN license
  • Chemotherapy administration experience
  • 3+ years of oncology nursing experience
  • Oncology clinical research experience
  • Experience reviewing medical records and identifying eligible patients for clinical trials
  • Experience with informed consent, adverse event reporting, and protocol management
  • Familiarity with OnCore, EDC systems, EMRs, and clinical trial documentation
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, IRB requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • BLS certification
  • Chemotherapy certification
  • OCN, AOCN, CCRP, CRA, or other research-related certifications

Responsibilities

  • Screen, pre-screen, and enroll patients for oncology clinical trials
  • Review medical records and determine protocol eligibility
  • Conduct and document informed consent discussions in accordance with GCP, IRB, and institutional guidelines
  • Coordinate protocol-required visits, treatments, laboratory testing, imaging, and follow-up care
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for research participants, providing education, support, and ongoing communication throughout study participation
  • Collaborate with investigators, oncology providers, infusion teams, pharmacy, radiology, pathology, and laboratory departments to ensure protocol compliance
  • Perform clinical assessments and provide protocol-specific nursing care for study participants
  • Monitor, document, and report adverse events and serious adverse events (SAEs)
  • Maintain accurate source documentation, study records, and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with study start-up activities, protocol implementation, monitoring visits, audits, and sponsor communications
  • Support case report form (CRF) completion and clinical trial database management
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, IRB, GCP, and institutional research requirements

Pay

$55.00 - $60.00/hr
