Clinical Research Dermatology

Job Title: Clinical Research Dermatologist Location: Tucson, AZ Schedule: Part-Time (0-8 hours/week) Start Date: ASAP About The Role We are seeking a board-certified Dermatologist to join as a Clinical Research Dermatologist. In this role, you will oversee protocol compliance, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with sponsors, CROs, and cross-functional teams to support Phase I-IV clinical trials. Key Responsibilities Serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) for dermatology and multi-therapeutic clinical trialsConduct medical screenings, dermatological assessments, and physical examinations for study participantsProvide clinical oversight and ensure patient safety in accordance with study protocols, ICH-GCP, and regulatory guidelinesCollaborate with study coordinators, nurses, and research staff to maintain compliance and accurate documentationDocument patient interactions, adverse events (AEs/SAEs), and maintain records in EHR/EDC systemsBuild and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, CROs, monitors, and IRBsParticipate in site initiation visits (SIVs), monitoring visits, and auditsContribute to protocol feasibility, study design input, and patient recruitment strategiesAttend investigator meetings and provide clinical expertise on dermatology endpoints and safety monitoringStay up to date with clinical research regulations and advancements in dermatology Qualifications M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted Arizona medical licenseBoard-certified in DermatologyValid DEA license and BLS/ACLS certificationPrior clinical research/trial experience preferred (training available for suitable candidates)Proficiency in EHR systems and clinical trial platforms (EDC, CTMS)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environmentCommitment to ethical research practices and patient-centered care Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate: Open to negotiate (based on experience)Flexible part-time scheduleOpportunity to contribute to cutting-edge clinical research and expand expertise in dermatology For more information reach out Asra Moosvi at (469) 290 - 0934 / asra.moosvi@protouchstaffing.com
