Clinical Research Coordinator, Penn Center for Temporomandibular Joint Disease

About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator supports the management of clinical trials at the Penn Center for Temporomandibular Joint Disease. They assist in patient screening, enrollment, data collection, and sample handling. They also support IRB submissions and manuscript preparation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct clinical studies, including subject recruitment, informed consent, chart maintenance, and data entry
• Coordinate IRB submissions and renewals in accordance with FDA and IRB guidelines
• Affirm compliance with the protocol and regulatory requirements, including collecting, recording, and maintaining data and source documentations
• Oversee study preparation and blood sample processing and analysis
• Manage databases and perform analyses
• Order and stock supplies, maintain equipment
• Inform and educate patients and family members
• Ensure adherence to good clinical practices and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

Skills

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of federal regulations and guidance documents for clinical studies

$47,313.00 - $59,015.00 Annual Rate
