Responsibilities

  • Coordinate clinical research studies, including study design, protocol development, and implementation.

  • Oversee the coordination of study teams, including investigators, coordinators, and other staff.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, guidelines, and institutional policies related to clinical research.
  • Prepare and submit required documents and reports to regulatory agencies and funding organizations.
  • Provide training and support to study team members on research procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments within Mayo Clinic to facilitate the smooth operation of clinical research projects.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as nursing, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis and data management principles.
