- Coordinate clinical research studies, including study design, protocol development, and implementation.
- Manage data collection processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of data to regulatory bodies.
- Oversee the coordination of study teams, including investigators, coordinators, and other staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, guidelines, and institutional policies related to clinical research.
- Prepare and submit required documents and reports to regulatory agencies and funding organizations.
- Provide training and support to study team members on research procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments within Mayo Clinic to facilitate the smooth operation of clinical research projects.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as nursing, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and data management principles.
