About the role
Join our neuroimmunology research team at the forefront of discovering how the immune system interacts with the nervous system to drive diseases such as multiple sclerosis and related disorders. This Clinical Research Coordinator position offers the opportunity to collaborate with physician-scientists to translate laboratory discoveries into meaningful advances for patients. Following established policies, procedures, and study protocols, you will provide assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy and EKGs; and maintaining and updating data generated by the study.
Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a six-month grace period from their hire date (up to one year if starting on a per diem basis) to provide degree equivalency verification.
Responsibilities
- Reviews proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines; verifies that all sponsor requirements are met.
- Recruits patients for clinical trials and conducts phone interviews.
- Verifies the accuracy of study forms and updates them per protocol.
- Prepares data for analysis and data entry.
- Documents patient visits and procedures.
- Assists with regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures.
- Assists with interviewing study subjects.
- Assists with study regulatory submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study (required).
- Relevant research project work (0-1 year preferred).
- Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work under established protocols.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literacy and working knowledge of clinical research protocols.
- Ability to demonstrate respect and professionalism for subjects' rights and individual needs.
This role may accept experience in lieu of a degree.

Pay
$21.00 - $29.01/hourly (Grade 5). At Mass General Brigham, base pay is determined by skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other essential factors. The provided range is an estimate based on minimum job qualifications.
