About the Role

The Department of Radiology is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to support clinical research studies by following established policies, procedures, and study protocols. This role involves recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy and EKGs; and maintaining study-related documentation. The coordinator will also contribute to determining study subject suitability, recruitment strategies, data analysis, QA/QC, and report preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with determining the suitability of study subjects and act as a resource for patients and families.
  • Contribute to recruitment strategies and protocol recommendations.
  • Administer and evaluate study questionnaires.
  • Maintain research data, patient files, regulatory binders, and study databases.
  • Perform data analysis, QA/QC checks, and organize and interpret data.
  • Assist with preparation for annual reviews and support the Principal Investigator in completing study reports and presentations.
  • May assist with training and orientation of new staff members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science (required).
  • 1–2 years of related post-bachelor’s degree research experience (required).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy, analytical skills, and ability to resolve technical problems.
  • Ability to interpret the acceptability of data results.
  • Working knowledge of data management programs.

Experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Additional Details

This is an onsite position located at 45 Francis Street. Scheduled weekly hours are 40, with a day shift schedule.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $24.28 – $39.43 (Grade 6).
