Clinical Research Coordinator II-Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine

About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator coordinates and manages all clinical research activities with moderate supervision. They adhere to the service values and principles of research ethics, balancing patient-facing and administrative data tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Captures and processes specimens from subjects
  • Manages participant engagement throughout clinical trials
  • Coordinates and oversees all aspects of clinical research visits
  • Prepares abstracted and coded data for subsequent processing and analysis
  • Participates in investigator meetings and contributes to the ethical conduct of research
  • Assists with financial aspects of studies including invoicing and billing management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and one year research experience required
  • Proficient organizational skills with ability to manage multiple studies
  • Proficient verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient knowledge of FDA, HSR, and GCP Guidelines
  • Proficient analytical skills with the ability to recognize quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Recognizes the need to prioritize tasks, problem solve, and work with others

Qualifications

  • Entry level leadership skills
  • Ability to foster an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued and respected

Skills

  • Knowledge of FDA, HSR, and GCP Guidelines
  • Ability to recognize quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Ability to remain agile and adaptable to various technological systems
