Clinical Research Coordinator II, Pediatric Gastroenterology Research

About the role
In accordance with established policies, procedures, and study protocols, this position provides support for clinical research studies. Responsibilities include recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients for studies; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy and EKGs; and maintaining and updating data generated by the study. This role does not involve direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assists in determining the suitability of study subjects and acts as a resource for patients and their families.
- Contributes to recruitment strategies and may provide input on protocol recommendations.
- Administers assessments and evaluates study questionnaires.
- Maintains research data, patient files, regulatory binders, and study databases.
- Performs data analysis and QA/QC checks, organizing and interpreting data as needed.
- Aids in preparation for annual reviews and assists the Principal Investigator in completing study reports and presentations.
- May assist in training and orientation for new staff members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science required (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of post-bachelor’s degree research experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Computer literacy, analytical skills, and ability to resolve technical problems.
- Ability to interpret the acceptability of data results.
- Working knowledge of data management programs.

Pay
$24.28 - $39.43/hourly (Grade 6). Base pay is determined by skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other essential factors.
