CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR II
About the role
The Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) supports the Principal Investigator (PI) in clinical trials by implementing and coordinating research including administrative procedures at Moffitt Cancer Center. The CRC II acts as a primary resource for protocols, coordinates patient care, and ensures protocol compliance and close monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Supports the PI in clinical trials by implementing and coordinating research including administrative procedures at Moffitt Cancer Center.
- As the primary resource for the protocols, the CRC II will coordinate patient care by collaborating with medical staff, and document in accordance with standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Acts as liaison between the investigators, care providers, Moffitt regulatory staff and the sponsor.
- Screens, enrolls, and follows study subjects, ensuring protocol compliance and close monitoring while the subjects are on study.
- Performs all Clinical Research Coordinator core support and additional responsibilities of more complex studies, with a higher patient volume.
- Determines methods and procedures for the coordination of newly assigned studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years clinical trials coordination experience
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree with 4 years clinical trials coordination experience may be considered
- Certification as CCRP/CCRC preferred
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail

Pay
Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job-related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
Schedule
This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule and a hybrid work (mix of remote and on-site) option after passing a 90-day introductory and training period.
