Status: Full time, budgeted hours 40, day shift. This is an onsite position. To be considered, candidates must reside in MA, RI, CT, or NH.
About the Role
The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will support the clinical research program and research team in the overall conduct of clinical trials using Good Clinical Practice under the auspices of the Principal Investigator and the Clinical Research Manager. The CRC will be responsible for the primary data collection and management of patient clinical information as it pertains to participation in clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- In collaboration with the Research Nurse, registers patients to protocols.
- Maintains trial database, including collecting and entering data.
- Completes all forms pertaining to protocols and reports questions, discrepancies, and violations to protocol investigator and collaborating institutions and companies.
- Organizes monitoring visits.
- Copies, mails, and/or faxes all protocol patient records to the proper institutions.
- Assists with data collection for clinical trials as needed and submits to data management offices.
- Prepares paperwork for all new protocol patients.
- Conducts phone interviews with possible participants for trials.
- Handles specimens, including collection, appropriate packing, and shipping of specimens in accordance with all safety regulations.
- Prepares/schedules patients for entry eligibility visits for potential study participants.
- Collects medical data from paper and electronic sources, both internal and external.
- Keeps all consents and related forms/paperwork in a file system for easy reference with adequate copies available.
- Participates in internal and external audits.
- Assists the Research Nurse with any and all other necessary tasks, including phone calls, mailings, filing, and miscellaneous data management tasks.
- Participates in continued learning and utilizes new technology and procedures relevant to the role.
- Works as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrates critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to make independent decisions.
- Balances multiple tasks and manages normal stress associated with the duties and responsibilities of this position.

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
Pay
Compensation pay range: $23.89 – $32.15 per hour.
