Clinical Research Coordinator

Responsibilities

• EDC data entry, scheduling, chart preparation
• Conducting rating scales, collecting vital signs, blood draws, and ECGs
• Ensuring the integrity and overall quality of assigned clinical research trials
• Communicating daily with study subjects and sponsors
• Reviewing study protocols and brochures; creating study document binder and preparing source documents
• Attending sponsor meetings as needed for assigned protocols
• Overseeing sponsor database process
• Completing study procedures including pre-screening, screening, and study visits
• Documentation of patient progress in response to investigative agents
• Coordination of monitor visits with patients
• Completion of source documents and case report forms
• Maintaining communication with physicians regarding study requirements, dose modifications, and adverse events
• Maintaining high level of understanding of ICH/GCP guidelines
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
• Highly detailed oriented, excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision
• Skilled with Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or similar role
• Neurology experience a strong plus
• CCRC certification a strong plus
• Prior working knowledge of research methodology, medical terminology, and pharmacology
