About the role
The Jacobs Lab is part of the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at MGH and focuses on improving the early detection and early treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. We are conducting a project to determine the role of brainstem nuclei (raphe nucleus, locus coeruleus) in risk for Alzheimer’s disease. For this project, we seek to hire a Clinical Research Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Assists with multiple research projects involving neuropsychological testing, biofluid collection, 3T MRI, 7T MRI, and PET-imaging of cognitively normal older adults (aged 50-85).
- Reports to the Principal Investigator.
- Assists with regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures.
- Interviews study subjects.
- Aids in the preparation and submission of study materials to regulators.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
- Experience: Some relevant research project work, 0-1 year preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with clinical research protocols.
- Skills: Attention to detail, good organizational skills, ability to follow directions, good interpersonal and communication skills, computer literacy.
