Clinical Research Coordinator

About the role

K2 Medical Research is a clinical research organization focusing on therapeutic areas such as neurodegenerative and cardiometabolic medicine. We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support our clinic in Maitland, FL.

Responsibilities

• Understand assigned studies through protocols, meetings, and coordination with PI
• Adhere strictly to study protocol; obtain exemptions when necessary
• Communicate protocol issues to CRO, Sponsor, Site Administrator, Director, PI, or Sub-Investigator
• Audit and maintain source documentation and sponsor-required information
• Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, height and weight, ECG, phlebotomy, specimen packaging
• Dispense and maintain accurate records of study medication
• Provide patient education and referrals
• Complete monitor and sponsor queries in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish/English highly desired
• HS Diploma or GED Transcript required
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a clinical environment preferred
• Experience in clinical research and Parkinson's (neurodegenerative disease) is ideal
• Phlebotomy, LPN, RN, or other medical licensure or certification preferred
• Strong working knowledge of GCP and FDA guidelines
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• BLS Healthcare Provider desired
