About the role
The MGH Food Allergy Center (FAC) is a multidisciplinary research center dedicated to investigating new therapeutic modalities for the treatment of food allergies and complementary investigations on the mechanisms and molecular pathways of allergic disease. The FAC focuses on clinical trials involving cutaneous immunotherapy, threshold minimum doses, and biomarker identification.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting and evaluating patients for clinical trials
- Collecting and organizing patient data
- Scheduling patients for study visits
- Performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy and EKGs
- Maintaining and updating data generated by the study
- Ensuring protocol compliance and adverse drug reaction reports
- Maintaining accurate and complete clinical research files
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Some relevant research project work (0-1 year preferred)
Qualifications
- Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Working knowledge of clinical research protocols
- Respect and professionalism for subjects' rights and individual needs
