Clinical Research Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to support clinical trial operations and patient-centered research activities. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Principal Investigators (PIs), research nurses, physicians, and study sponsors to ensure clinical trials are conducted in compliance with protocol requirements, GCP guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Screen and recruit patients for clinical trial participation.
  • Coordinate study activities and participant visits throughout the research lifecycle.
  • Review medical records and patient history to determine protocol eligibility.
  • Obtain and maintain required study documentation, including informed consent records and source documents.
  • Register enrolled patients with study sponsors and maintain study records within OnCore.
  • Create and maintain study tools such as eligibility checklists, calendars, medication diaries, flow sheets, and tracking logs using OnCore, Excel, and Word.
  • Assist with adverse event and serious adverse event documentation and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready research files and regulatory documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between study sponsors, investigators, and research staff.
  • Coordinate sponsor monitoring visits and respond to study-related inquiries.
  • Generate study reports and provide updates to investigators and study teams.
  • Ensure studies are conducted in accordance with protocol requirements, GCP guidelines, and institutional policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1-3 years of Clinical Research Coordinator or related clinical research experience.
  • Experience screening patients and coordinating clinical studies.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with patients and research participants.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and clinical research databases.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced research environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with OnCore CTMS.
  • Knowledge of GCP, informed consent processes, and clinical trial regulations.
  • Experience working with oncology research studies.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract, fully onsite position based in Livingston, NJ.
