Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator (Sleep Medicine)Job Description This role focuses on coordinating and supporting clinical research studies in a sleep medicine setting. You will manage participant scheduling, oversee visit execution, and ensure accurate data collection and documentation across multiple studies. The position requires strong clinical research coordination experience, a deep understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site clinic environment. Responsibilities Coordinate participant scheduling, visit execution, and follow-up activities across multiple clinical research studies.Support recruitment, screening, enrollment, and retention of patients with sleep disorders.Facilitate sleep-specific assessments such as polysomnography (PSG), Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT), actigraphy, and patient-reported outcomes (PRO) or electronic clinical outcome assessments (eCOA).Ensure accurate, timely, and ALCOA+-compliant data entry and source documentation for all study activities.Maintain study files and documentation to support ongoing inspection readiness.Assist with query resolution, data reconciliation, and preparation for monitoring visits.Track, document, and escalate protocol deviations, eligibility issues, and operational risks as appropriate.Coordinate cross-functional communication between the clinical site, contract research organizations (CROs), and sponsor teams.Support investigational product (IP) handling and site logistics, as applicable to the studies.Assist with data entry into electronic data capture (EDC) systems as needed.Conduct chart reviews to identify and evaluate potential study participants.Contribute to administrative oversight of clinical research activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements.Work independently to manage assigned tasks and timelines while supporting multiple concurrent projects. Essential Skills Minimum of 3+ years of on-site, hands-on Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) experience.Demonstrated substantial experience in clinical research coordination and administrative oversight.Comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.Proficiency with electronic data capture (EDC) systems for clinical research.Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and chart review in a clinical setting.Proven experience in patient recruitment and screening for clinical studies.Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related discipline.Ability to quickly adapt, jump into ongoing projects, and work independently with minimal supervision.Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Analytical problem-solving capabilities to address operational and data-related issues. Additional Skills & Qualifications Advanced degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.Experience supporting clinical research trials in a sleep medicine or similar specialty environment.Familiarity with sleep-specific assessments such as PSG, MWT, actigraphy, and PRO/eCOA tools.Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, including sites, CROs, and sponsors.Demonstrated ability to maintain inspection-ready study files and documentation.Comfort working on multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing priorities. Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site role in a clinic-based environment operating Monday through Friday. The position supports two concurrent clinical research projects within a sleep medicine center. You will work closely with clinical staff and research teams, using technologies such as electronic medical records (EMR), electronic data capture (EDC) systems, and sleep-specific diagnostic equipment (including PSG, MWT, and actigraphy). The environment is structured, professional, and highly collaborative, with a strong focus on supporting clinical research trials for a leading healthcare provider. You are expected to be present on-site, manage your workload independently, and contribute actively to a culture of quality, compliance, and patient-centered care. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redwood City, CA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
