Clinical Research Coordinator
We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Research Coordinator to join our esteemed oncology research team. This patient-facing role involves screening, recruitment, and managing source documentation for oncology trials.
Responsibilities
- Screen, consent, and enroll patients in oncology trials.
- Manage patient documentation and ensure protocol compliance.
- Coordinate with clinic staff to schedule appointments and research procedures.
- Work closely with patients and doctors during clinic visits.
- Ensure completion of questionnaires and documentation in EMR.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, medical assistants, and infusion nurses.
- Assist with insurance authorizations and scheduling of EKGs or vitals.
- Monitor patient progress and address any side effects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
- Experience in patient study enrollment and oncology trials.
- Proficiency in chart review, screening, and consenting patients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex protocols.
- Ability to learn new materials quickly and look at the bigger picture of the study.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read protocols and notice side effects.
- Experience working with sick oncology patients.
About the Work Environment
Our work environment includes being part of a prestigious comprehensive cancer center known for cutting-edge oncology research. We conduct a variety of trials, including pharmaceutical-sponsored Phase I and II trials, as well as investigator-led and federally sponsored studies. This is a hybrid position based in Sacramento, CA, with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility. You will work on-site and closely with clinical and data management teams.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility.
