Clinical Research Coordinator Associate - GI
About the role
Moffitt Cancer Center (MCC), an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in Florida and ranked as one of Best Hospitals for Cancer on U.S. News & World Report, is seeking highly motivated individuals to join the Clinical Trials Office as a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate on the Gastrointestinal Trials team. This is a support position that administers duties related to the collection of data and/or the coordination of clinical trials, primarily non-therapeutic in nature. The role serves as a pre-entry position for the Clinical Trials Coordinator career path or other medical or research career paths.
Responsibilities
- Obtain informed consent from study participants.
- Coordinate assigned research protocols, including specimen collection and data entry.
- Support therapeutic studies, including data entry into various database systems.
- Follow up with patients according to protocol via review of records, clinic visits, or telephone calls.
- Order supplies and prepare patient/participant documents for study visits.
- Assist with the maintenance of regulatory documents.
- Communicate with study sponsors.
- Facilitate the collection of study-required specimens.
The position applies job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks with moderate supervision. Assignments are semi-routine, but the CRC Associate may need to deviate from accepted practice occasionally and requires instructions only on new assignments.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or high school diploma/GED with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a scientific, health-related, or business administration program.
Pay
Salary range: $21.65 - $33.05 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
