About the role

The Neurosurgery Clinical Research Division of the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania seeks a full time Clinical Research Coordinator- A.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct clinical studies, including subject recruitment, informed consent, chart maintenance and data entry
  • Coordinate IRB submissions and renewals in accordance with FDA and IRB guidelines
  • Affirm compliance with the protocol and regulatory requirements, including collecting, recording, and maintaining data and source documentations
  • Oversee study preparation and blood sample processing and analysis
  • Manage databases and analyze data
  • Order and stock supplies, maintain equipment
  • Inform and educate patients and family members
  • Support good clinical practice in the conduct of clinical investigations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
