About the role

The Center for Weight and Eating Disorders at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine seeks a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC).

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and screening participants
• Conducting patient assessments, including behavioral testing
• Cooking subject screenings and study visits
• Cooking regulatory paperwork
• Documenting and reporting adverse events
• Preparing study materials and ordering study-specific supplies
• Completing progress and data safety monitoring plan reports
• Maintaining study charts
• Entering study data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Must be able to interact sensitively with patients seeking weight loss treatment.
• Effective problem solving, communication, and writing skills are required.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
