Clinical Research Coord (Temple Health-Main Campus)

About the role

This position supports the Fox Chase Cancer Center Office of Clinical Research at Temple University Hospital, Main Campus or East Norriton and Buckingham Campuses.

Responsibilities

• Captures and handles research specimens according to IATA guidelines.
• Coordinates and facilitates the conduct of clinical research protocols.
• Manages and operates clinical research protocols to ensure research participant recruitment and accrual, protocol compliance, research participant safety, and data quality.
• Coordinates data management for satellite locations.
• Interacts with institutional investigators, other members of the healthcare team, service line members, and research participants/families to support the conduct of clinical trials.
• Maintains flexibility in work schedule to cover study responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Graduate Level Classes or Degree in a relevant program Preferred
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• 2 years experience in a healthcare setting, preferably oncology or clinical trials
• 2 years experience with oncology clinical trials
• 1 year experience performing phlebotomy and specimen processing
• General experience and knowledge of chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy administration

Qualifications

• IATA Certification class provided within 3 months from date of hire
