About the role
The full-time, non-exempt Clinical Receptionist reports to the Practice Manager or Lead Medical Assistant. The role plays a crucial part in the high-performing healthcare team at Honor Community Health, serving as the primary point of contact for patients during their visits.
Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively to create and maintain a culture of excellence and dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality health care to all.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for patients during their visits.
- Ensures smooth operation of the front desk by managing patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and registration processes.
- Handles administrative tasks including maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Communicates effectively with patients, staff, and external parties to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- 6+ months of experience in a customer service or clinical receptionist position is required.
- Strong computer skills and experience using Electronic Medical Records (NextGen preferred) and knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet.
- Spanish speaking is preferred.

Qualifications
