Clinical Psychologist Outpatient - Associate Professor - Clinical Track
About The Job
The University of Minnesota’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for a clinical track faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level. This faculty role serves as the Director of Behavioral Health at the Community-University Health Care Center (CUHCC).
Position Highlights
- 0.50 FTE (20 hours per week) to provide strategic leadership and management of behavioral health services at CUHCC
- 0.20 FTE (8 hours per week) for clinical and administrative supervision
- 0.10 FTE (2 hours per week) for academic activities, including attending faculty meetings, Grand Rounds, and other department-based activities
- 0.20 FTE (8 hours per week) for direct patient care
Reports to
The Chief Clinical Officer at CUHCC and the Department Head, Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.
Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Clinical Psychology training program.
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Licensure.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
- Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA category while in the United States.
- Demonstrated knowledge and training in trauma-informed mental health care.

Pay And Benefits
Pay Range: This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of the person hired, and begins at $55,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.
