About the role

The Clinical Psychologist provides an advanced level of clinical mental health services in both individual and group settings. Services are based on sound theoretical principles, with knowledge of the special issues and needs of the population served. The incumbent develops strategies for the services provided to meet the multifaceted needs of a diverse population, with attention to the policies and procedures of TMC-BH, and is expected to interface with internal and external service providers.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology
• Licensed in the State of Missouri as a Psychologist, or license-eligible
• Knowledge of psychological terminology, the process of diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders
• Demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of psychotherapy
• Basic research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational ability and social facility
• Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to provide education to staff and in the community
• Good independent judgment
• Ability to adapt to new duties and work in a changing environment
• Completion of training as directed through orientation and/or Leadership, Management or Educators in the established timeline for continued employment

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)
