Clinical Psychologist - Child Inpatient
About the Role
Serve as a Child Psychologist in an inpatient setting within the Department of Psychiatry, part of the Psychology Division. The Psychologist will provide psychotherapy to patients, offer treatment recommendations, deliver excellent patient care, and provide teaching and supervision to trainees rotating on the assigned service. Additionally, participate in department administrative activities as assigned.
This role involves conducting group therapy programming on the adult inpatient unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to patients in an inpatient setting.
- Offer treatment recommendations for patients.
- Deliver high-quality care to patients.
- Teach and supervise trainees rotating on the assigned service.
- Conduct group therapy programming on the adult inpatient unit.
- Participate in department administrative activities as assigned.
Requirements
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-approved program.
- Completion of an APA-approved Clinical Psychology internship.
- NYS license or license eligible required.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an inpatient setting.
Pay
Salary range: $75,303 - $120,627 (L4). Note that this is a general guideline and actual salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, market, and business considerations. The range is for full-time (1.0 FTE) and will be prorated for less than 1.0 FTE.
Schedule
Work days: Monday through Friday, daytime hours.
